Daily Prayer Topics
Read:
Matthew 28:19-20, Matthew 5:43-44, Acts 13:49
Reflect:
We have an amazing opportunity to share the hope of Jesus with the people God has placed in our lives. God has commissioned us to take his message into all the world, and He has prepared us to do so. Jesus commands us to take his teachings and make other disciples. It’s easy to pray for the salvation of those that we love, but it’s much harder to pray for the salvation of those who hate us.
We are asking God for:
• Our hearts to be compassionate for those that hate us
• Unity in purpose and vision to identify, pray, and reach our “ONES”
• Extending our reach within our community
• Deepening our relationships and connection
• Harvest Time to have a heart for God and a passion for reaching our “ONES”
Read:
2 Peter 3:9, Acts 4:12, Acts 16:30-33
Reflect:
God does not delight in the death of sinners, he desires that no one should perish. He is long-suffering as to give time to repent, however he will not wait forever. Jesus will come to take his church and judge the world. We must pray with urgency that those that are far away will repent, come to know him, and make public declarations of their faith through water baptism.
We are asking God for:
• People to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior
• People to make a public declaration of their faith through water baptism
• Boldness and courage to invite our ONES to church and share Christ in our community
Read:
Proverbs 22:6, Psalm 78:4-6, Jeremiah 1:6-7
Reflect:
We have a desire to make disciples of the Next Generation. We must tell those younger than us the good deeds and faithfulness of God, teaching them everything that we know and have learned. Pastor Deron says…” I want my ceiling to be their floor.” Pray for our children and students to have encounters with Jesus that lead to salvation and a boldness to live for Him now.
We are asking God for:
• Him to move in our children’s ministry and help our children to grow in His Word
• Children to be touched during weekend services and camps
• Students to encounter Christ in YTH, influencers, and summer camps
• Godly leaders and volunteers who invest in the next generation
Read:
Ephesians 3:14-15, 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Joshua 24:15
Reflect:
Marriage and family are God’s design. The enemy seeks to divide homes and marriages by devising weapons or distractions. Now more than ever marriages and families are under attack. The disruptions and challenges we have all faced put pressure on the most important relationships we have in life. We must pray that God protects families, helps men lead their homes, the home to be a place of safety, and for His love to be demonstrations through their relationships.
We are asking God for:
• Family relationships to be reconciled
• Him to be first in our families through healthy priorities
• Renewed marriages and love for one another
• Unity between spouses and their children
• Wisdom and peace in leading our homes
Read:
Matthew 9:38, Romans 10:14-15, 1 Corinthians 16:24
Reflect:
God has placed us to make an impact in our neighborhood, city, region, and globally. Our faith has been given to us to be a light in the world, not to hide. At Harvest Time, there are many ways to make a difference through local outreaches and our international mission trips. We must pray that God divinely intersects us with people who need to hear the gospel and gives us favor with man to expedite the message.
We are asking God for:
• Our hearts to be moved with compassion to reach people
• Supernatural impact in our local missions activities throughout the year
• His blessing and protection over our global mission trips
• Volunteers and resources to help the hurting and reach people for Christ at our Serve Day
Read:
Acts 4:26, Hebrews 10:24-25, Proverbs 27:17
Reflect:
More and Better disciples starts with personal discipleship – each person walking in all God has for them. Close relationships among the members of God’s family provide a context for applying biblical truth, promote unity and caring among the members, meet spiritual and emotional needs, furnish a setting for lifestyle evangelism, and demonstrate the Body of Christ in action. Together, we make known the weapons that the enemy has formed against us and fight against them together instead of alone. We must pray that our church develops godly relationships to sharpen and strengthen one another.
We are asking God for:
• God to transform hearts, minds, and relationships through our Small Groups
• People to encounter Him and take their next steps
• People to experience spiritual family through Small Groups
• New leaders to step out and lead Groups throughout the year
