What is Serve Day?

Serve Day is an opportunity for churches around the world to serve their local communities and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness. Harvest Time will be taking part in this worldwide Serve Day event by serving people and organizations across the River Valley.

Who can participate in Serve Day?

Everyone is welcome to serve. Individuals, families, students, and children can all participate.

Is there a cost to participate?

No. Serve Day is completely free.

How do I register?

Can I choose the project I serve?

Yes. During registration, you’ll be able to select from available project opportunities. Project availability is limited, and spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for your project, tennis shoes, and your Serve Day shirt.

What should I bring?

We recommend bringing:

  • Water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Work gloves (if applicable)
  • Any tools requested by your Team Lead

Specific project needs will be communicated before Serve Day.

How will I receive a Serve Day shirt?

Participants can request a shirt size during registration. Shirts will be distributed at the Serve Day Rally.

Do children need to register?

Yes. Anyone participating should be included in registration, so we can plan appropriately for projects and shirts.

What if it rains?

Team Leads will communicate any weather-related updates or adjustments prior to Serve Day.

How will I know where to go?

You will receive project information and communication from your Team Lead before Serve Day. The Serve Day Rally will also provide final instructions.
