Water Baptism
Water Baptism is a biblical step of obedience that follows putting your faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus commanded His followers to be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit as part of the Great Commission. Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation, symbolizing our identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
If you’ve recently given your life to Christ, or if you made that decision long ago but were never baptized, water baptism is your next step. We celebrate water baptisms on the first Sunday of every month during our Sunday services. If you’d like to take this step, you can register below. To learn more about baptism, read Matthew 28:19; Mark 16:16; Acts 2:38; 8:12, 36–38; 10:47–48.
Communion
Communion, also known as the Lord’s Supper, is a sacred time of remembrance when we partake of bread and juice, representing the body and blood of Jesus Christ, in response to His sacrifice on the cross. We offer open communion quarterly during our Worship & Communion Nights. Open communion means that anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcome to participate, even if you do not attend Harvest Time regularly. To learn more about communion, read Matthew 26:26–29; 1 Corinthians 10:16; 11:23–25.
Sacred Ceremonies
Child Dedication
In 1 Samuel 1:26-28, we read about a woman named Hannah committing her child’s life to the Lord. We believe that this act is as much of a blessing on a child’s life as it is the parents’ commitment to see their child raised to believe in Jesus Christ. We would be honored to take this step with you and your family.

Healing & Anointing
The healing of the sick is illustrated throughout the life and ministry of Jesus and is part of His commission to His followers. As James 5:14–16 teaches, we believe God calls on the elders of the church to anoint those who are sick with oil and pray for their healing. This act is a tangible way to participate in God’s work through Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross and the gifts of the Spirit. Healing is also seen as a sign that follows believers, reflecting God’s care and power in our lives. To learn more about the ministry of healing, read Psalm 103:2–3; Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 8:16–17; Mark 16:17–18; Acts 8:6–7; James 5:14–16; 1 Corinthians 12:9, 28; Romans 11:29.
Marriage
We believe marriage is defined in Scripture as a covenant, a sacred bond between one man and one woman, instituted by God and entered into before Him. The Bible teaches that when a man and woman are united in marriage, they become one, making this a significant and life-shaping commitment. We consider it a privilege to walk with couples through this meaningful season. To learn more about a biblical view of marriage, read Matthew 19:4–6; Genesis 2:24.
Harvest Time offers a space for wedding ceremonies and officiant services, and we would love to explore how we might walk with you through the process. Availability and participation cannot be guaranteed. To begin the conversation, please contact us via email at connect@harvesttime.net.
